Last week, I returned to Immigrant Entrepreneur Canada to talk about what happens after you've cracked your first market. Same room of brilliant founders. Same incredible energy. A whole new set of challenges to dig into.

This time, we went deep into international expansion.

We covered:

- Funding purchase orders from bigger retailers, both in the U.S. and Canada, because a big yes from a retailer can break you financially if you're not prepared

- Private labeling opportunities on both sides of the border

- Subscription boxes as a channel

- International expansion through ecommerce

- International expansion through wholesaling, which is a very different path

- The regulations to take care of during international expansion

I built my previous brand, The Radiant Rhino, across three countries. The U.S. Canada. Taiwan.

Not because I had it all figured out. Because I kept moving anyway.

There is nothing quite like a room full of founders who are ready to think bigger. The questions were sharp, the energy was electric, and the ambition in that room was real.
