Protect a CEO’s Time: 3 Questions and a Handwritten Note

I open my mailbox.

Real mail. Not a flyer from a store I’ve never visited.

Inside is a hand-written note and a Starbucks card from across the border.

I was a guest on Morris Sims’ podcast, The Commission Code, and this was his thank you.

I stood there in the hallway, genuinely touched.

In a world of automated emails and quick “thanks so much!” DMs, physical mail across international borders stops you cold. It’s the kind of gesture you remember for a long time.

On the episode, we dove into:

• How I started my first business

• The 3 questions I use to protect a CEO’s time

Those 3 questions help founders quickly decide what to own, what to delegate, and what to drop completely.

Thank you, Morris, for the great conversation and for the kindest follow-up I’ve received in a long time.

When did someone last surprise you with a small, thoughtful gesture?
